Healing circles are groups of people that come together to form a circle for the sole purpose of
healing, this usually happens in the same place, day and time each week, lasting for about two
hours. The people who choose to sit in these circles have the desire to be of service and more
than likely some will be healers.
For these circles to be a success there must be peace, harmony and balance between the members.
Once the bond is made, the healing energies are accessed through prayer and meditation which
resonates with the divine force, drawing healing guides, masters and angelic forces. These
circles are truly needed by the spiritual realms as a bridge is formed between the two worlds,
which the circle accesses and so is able to channel healing.
The circle will have a group leader that will guide the circle but this is simply for keeping
order in the work that is to be done and watching and feeling how the energies are flowing.
When I hold my healing circle I ask everyone to be dedicated and focus into the nature of the
circle as I have always felt healing to be the highest form of mediumship, whether this is
spiritual teaching to enlighten the heart right through to laying-on of hands for the physical
I start the circle with a prayer and ask everyone to relax and leave all their daily thoughts
outside; I then gently lead them into a meditation to help link with the spiritual realms,
this is to connect with guides which the members are working with. And while the connection
is made in these realms, some of the members will receive healing or aid with healing for
distressed souls - even souls that have passed over may still need healing, and the love from
the circle can help them elevate. Then the circle starts working on the names of people that
have been given, slowly calling them out one by so a connection is made, the full name is
important as it has the vibrations of the person and their condition. This connection can be made by the
members picking up through sensing, seeing, hearing via the guides or even feeling in
their own bodies the conditions; if there is any discomfort for the members they simple ask the
guides to take the feeling away and this request is honoured. Once the link has been made with the person
the healing will start; for the members it is humbling to feel the power and guides of the
circle and know that people that have felt the healing are feeling better. Next the circle
works on the healing books which also hold names of people that need healing - these tend to be
brought in by the healers which work regularly, be it hands-on or absent healing - they are placed
in the centre of the circle and then everyone focuses by praying; some will see energies in the form
of colours or sensations, others will see guides and angels and images but this can vary in
many ways. Then the circle works on areas of the world, this is done in different ways, sometimes
we travel mentally through visualisation to places in the world or work on the people which are
shown to us in these areas. Then each member channels the energies - the ones that can't
visualise will use their feelings, again intention and love is the key. Some of the members have
quite a profound experience which leaves them with an overwhelming feeling of compassion and an
affinity with the divine force.
The work we do can vary each time we meet but is always for the good of our fellow human beings,
the animal kingdom, the planet and the spiritual realms. When we finish I close with a prayer.
Any person who sits in a circle, regardless of its spiritual nature, needs to try to keep as
peaceful as possible, remembering that the work done is important and needs protecting.
